How Project: Saviour Came to Life

✨ How Project: Saviour Came to Life

Welcome to Project Comic Universe — and the story behind Project: Saviour, my dream project that turned sketches and scribbles into a living, breathing superhero universe.

I'm Craig Johnson, and if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to create your own comic world from scratch, you’re in the right place.

Today, I want to pull back the curtain and show you exactly how Project: Saviour came to life — the highs, the hurdles, and the passion that powered it all.

💡 It All Started with a Single Idea

Like a lot of creators, my journey began with a simple "what if."

What if you could tell a superhero story that felt grounded — real emotions, real struggles, real stakes — but still packed with action, hope, and heart?

I wanted to build a world where the characters weren't just invincible gods flying around — they were people. Flawed, brave, scared, determined. Heroes not because of what powers they had, but because of the choices they made.

That seed became Project: Saviour.

✏️ From Scribbles to Storylines

At first, it was messy — a few doodles in the margins of sketchbooks, half-formed notes jotted down between work shifts. Some of those early sketches were rough (and honestly, hilarious looking now!), but they carried the soul of what I wanted to create.

I spent countless late nights piecing together character designs, world lore, and backstory arcs.Slowly, Project: Saviour stopped being "just an idea" — it started feeling like a real place.A place filled with heroes, villains, and everything in between.

🛠️ Building the Universe Brick by Brick

Once I knew the heart of the story, I got to work bringing it to life.

  • Full character sheets

  • Issue storyboards

  • Worldbuilding details — cities, factions, technologies

It wasn't easy. Some days the ideas flowed like a river. Other days... it felt like wrestling a brick wall.

But every page, every panel pulled me closer to the version of Project: Saviour I had imagined in my mind.

And now?The universe is real — and it’s just getting started.

And honestly?I couldn’t be more excited for what's coming next.

If you’ve ever dreamed of holding your own piece of a comic universe — whether through original art, custom commissions, or limited-edition prints — I’d love to invite you along for the ride.

Thanks for being here from the beginning. This is just the start.
